Kay Ellen (Browning) Caldwell
???? ~ February 18, 2013 | Age 73

Kay Ellen Browning Caldwell, 73, died on February 18, 2013 of congestive heart failure after a long bout with vasculitis. Her parents, Omar 'Bud' Browning and Betty Browning of Fort Collins, Colorado, preceded her in death. She leaves a loving husband of 50 years, Larry Caldwell, their four children; Jeff Caldwell of Silt, Colorado, Brad Caldwell of San Juan Capistrano, California, Kelly Caldwell of New York and Kim Goodwin of Westminster, Colorado, as well as two sisters; Jill Eccleston and Gay Kepple, a brother, Tex Browning, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Kay was a wonderful big sister, a caring mother, a trusted friend and a compassionate volunteer. She was a talented golfer winning state and city tournaments in Oklahoma and in Colorado. As an adult, she played in the Women's Golf League in Ft. Collins. Known for her direct manner, her willingness to help and her love of sports, Kay's great spirit will endure in the hearts and minds of everyone whose lives she touched.

A service to celebrate Kay's life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Ft. Collins at 11:30 on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
