Martin A. Calderon, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was 56 years old. A memorial ceremony will be held at Trout Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
Martin was born in Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico on January 8, 1964 to his parents, Marcelino Calderon Mora and Carmen Archundia Mora. He worked for 20+ years at Albertsons Distribution Center in Ponca City. Martin enjoyed gambling and going to the casinos. He grew up playing basketball and loved to fish. Martin also enjoyed being outdoors working and landscaping.
Martin is survived by his wife, Maria Socoro Perez, son, Martin Calderon, Jr., daughters, Angelica Bugarin, Ireya Calderon, and Kimberly Calderon, brothers, Miguel Calderon Archundia, Juan Calderon Archundia, and Francisco Calderon Archundia, sisters, Marta Calderon, Archundia and Erika Micaela Calderon Archundia, 6 grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino Calderon Mora and Carmen Archundia Mora.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
