Nora Calder

August 22, 1883 ~ Feburary 20, 1973

Mrs. Nora Calder, Erick, died Tuesday Feburary 20, 1973 at the Erick Nursing Home following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. In the Erick Church of Christ. Leroy Cowan, minister Officiating.

Born August 22, 1883 at Valentine, Nebraska, She was married to John H. Calder was married October 12, 1902 at Hackberry, Texas. They came to Durham in 1902 and moved to Erick in 1947. She was a member of the Church Of Christ. Her husband, two daughters and one son preceded her in death.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Frances Whitson, Erick, Oklahoma, Mrs. Hazel Burton, Durmas, Texas, Mrs. Pearlie Mae Dordis, Sacramento, California, seven graqndchildren, 12 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Lane, Desoto, Kansas; four brothers, Charlie Baker, Canadian, Texas, Frank Baker San Bernadino, California, Don Baker, Durham, Horace Baker, Cortez, Colorado.

Interment was in Prairie Dell cemetery, Gem City, Hemphill County, Texas.
