Tracia Ann Cain of Paden, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Okemah, Oklahoma, at the age of 64. Tracia was born on October 13, 1959 in Okemah and was the daughter of Harold and Julia (Haley) Plum. Tracia attended Bethany Schools and was a 1978 graduate of Bethany High School. Tracia married Bruce Cain on April 17, 1981 and together they had two children, Haley and Teresa.
Tracia worked for many years as a pharmacy technician at St. Anthony’s Hospital. She loved animals, especially Dachshunds, and had a big heart and would often rescue animals. She was also a passionate reader and enjoyed working on puzzles. Tracia’s favorite hobby was purse shopping, especially at Dillards.
Tracia was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Cain and her father, Harold Plum.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Julia Plum; two daughters, Haley Shimko and husband Joshua; Teresa Holleman and her husband Gordan; three grandchildren, Jacqueline, William and Colin; her brother, Russel Plum and his wife, Keri; her sisters, Penny Maxwell and her husband, Butch and DeAnn Cannizzio and a host of family and friends.
