Jane Elizabeth "Liz" Cain

October 12, 1946 ~ January 6, 2022

The memorial service for Jane Cain will be announced at a later date under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Jane Elizabeth Cain (Liz) was born October 12, 1946, and passed on to something better January 6, 2022, surrounded by her children and family. She fought hard and she fought long and when she was ready to stop fighting she found the peace and warmth of those who left before her who were waiting to embrace her on the other side.

Liz was blessed to have 10 siblings, three children, 13 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Muskogee and adopted by Dee and Lucille Flaherty along with sister Linda who preceded her in death in 2010.

She would wind up with other siblings who would take almost 40 years to find and reunite with. She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters and is survived by brother Marshall of Eufaula, Virginia of Alderson Oklahoma, and Betty of Frederick, Oklahoma, and her children, Traci Broomfield of Enid, Kim Cooper of Waukomis, and Jerry Wayne Hicks of Waukomis, who surrounded her bedside at the time of her passing.

She was a kind, compassionate, gentle person who never judged another. She was loved by all and will be sorely missed and mourned by all who knew and loved her. Her faith was her rock! We all love you Liz!!!!
