Estell Richard "Ed" Cain

June 23, 1937 ~ 2008

Estell Richard "Ed" Cain was born on June 23, 1937, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, to Caude and Ola (Moore) Cain.

He grew up in Stilwell attending Stilwell Public School. He married Evelyn Crann Berryhill on June 17, 1957 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and they settled in Wichita, Kansas. In 1963 they moved to Blackwell where he began working there until his retirement in 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Cain of Blackwell, Oklahoma, a daughter; Debbie Dyer and husband Joel of Blackwell, Oklahoma, a son; Randy Cain and wife Pat of Stilwell, Oklahoma, three sisters; Loretta Stacy of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Galela Bowman of Wellington, Kansas, and Viola Dahl of Del City, Oklahoma, three brothers; James Cain of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Charlie Cain of Park Hill, Oklahoma, and Larry Cain of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, two grandsons; Cy Dyer and wife Shelbi of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Tyler Dyer and fiance' Bobbi of Alva, Oklahoma, and three great grandchildren; Hunter, Taylor and Jackson Dyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Elsie Christie, Thelma Edwards and Wanda Cain, and two brothers; Freeman, and Steve Cain.
