Delma Mae Cady, 94 years of age, went to be with Jesus on November 22, 2013 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie, OK. Delma was born on July 28, 1919 at Cambridge, NE, one of 10 children born to Frank and Ida (Rheinheimer) Cady. Delma attended elementary school in the rural Cambridge area, graduating from Cambridge High School with the class of 1936.

On October 19, 1936 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Arthur Hoerle. To this union two children were born; Kenneth "Kenny", and Patricia "Patty". The couple were at home on their ranch in rural Chambers, NE until moving to O'Neill, NE. in the late 1970's. Delma worked in the cafeteria at Chambers Public School until they moved to O'Neill. She worked part time in the cafeteria at St. Anthony's Hospital for a number of years. In January, 1986 Lloyd went to be with Jesus. On September 2, 1989, Delma married Myrl Cady in Ainsworth, NE. They resided in Ainsworth until Myrl's death in August 1996. In August, due to ill health Delma went to live near her son in Arapaho, NE and then to Woodriver, NE. In 2006, her son was killed in a tragic accident and Delma moved to Guthrie, OK and was near her daughter and beloved grand children and great- grandchildren.

Besides her parents, husband Lloyd, husband Myrl & son Kenny, Delma was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Jimmy, Bud & Bob Cady and her 5 sisters: Ester Roberts, Lucille Henry, Ruth Weber, Maurine Rork, Frances Hoerle, and Betty Decker. Delma leaves to mourn her passing a daughter Patty Backer and 3 grandchildren; Scott Backer & wife Shannon of Bowie, TX., Tricia Branson and husband Bruce, of Mulhall, OK., and Chris Backer and wife Anna, of Lucas, TX.; 4 great grandchildren, Stephen Dickson & Logan Backer of Crescent, OK.; Christopher "Ty" and Colton Backer of Lucas, TX.; great-great grandson Cooper Dickson of Crescent, OK., and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Delma loved her family and the Lord so much. She always had a hug and a smile for everyone. She was very well known for her baking and home cooked meals. In later years, she and Myrl enjoyed traveling to their favorite places and visiting family and friends. Delma loved her grandchildren, teaching each one to play cards and making all their favorite foods. The last 7 years of her life she resided at Golden Age Nursing Home where she made a host of new friends and always had hugs and kisses for all who visited.
