Linda (Smith) Butler
February 7, 1934 ~ April 4, 2013

Linda (Smith) Butler, age 79, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. She was born February 7, 1934 in Wilkinson County, Mississippi to Edward L. Smith and Willie (Cage) Smith.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Linda Lee Roberson and husband Paul of Norman, OK, Ella Ruth Butler of Denham Springs, LA, and Sherry Elizabeth Novak and husband Ronny of Natchez, MS; two sisters, Donna S. Arnold and husband Paul of Woodville, MS and Evelyn S. Harris and husband Lynn of Tyler, TX; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rufus E. Butler, II.; two sons, Rufus E. Butler, lll and William Clinton Butler; one brother, Edward L. Smith, Jr.; two sisters, June S. Carter and Sherry S. King.

Memorial contributions may be made to Norman Meals on Wheels at P.O. Box 1371, Norman, Oklahoma 73070.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2013 at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Street, Norman, OK. Family will be receiving guests during this time. Linda's funeral service will be held in Mississippi.

Arrangements for Linda and her family were placed in the care of the Vice family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
