Claremore
Kyra Celeste Butler, a radiant soul beloved by many, was
born on October 13, 2003, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Thomas and Courtney
(Million) Butler. She brought joy and laughter to all who crossed her path.
Her journey through life was by bright moments shared with her family and
friends until her passing on Friday, November 15, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
at the age of 21.
Kyra was a true lover of music, finding comfort and cheer in the sweet melodies of "You Are My Sunshine" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." Her love for music was only rivaled by her joyous spirit, which shone through her cherished moments spent giggling and laughing with those she adored. She was a generous giver of kisses, a small act that spoke volumes of her kind heart and loving nature. Kyra delighted in family gatherings and possessed a special fondness for chips and pop.
Her adventurous spirit was evident during good long car rides, where every mile was an opportunity for her to take in all the scenery. Kyra had a genuine love for people, making lasting connections with friends and relatives. The joy she spread will not be forgotten, as she touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Kyra is survived by her loving parents, Thomas Butler of Claremore, OK, and Courtney Butler of Benton, AR, along with her bonus mom, Misty Butler. She will always be remembered by her brothers, Kage Meadows of Benton, AR, Blake Rouse of Sedan, KS, and Tyler Stephens of Claremore, and her sisters, Brynlie Butler of Claremore, Haley Rouse, and Makayla Stephens, both of Sedan, KS.
Kyra’s warmth extended to her grandparents, Linda Butler of Pryor, OK, Tom Butler of Claremore, and Robert and Debra Million of Benton, AR. Her legacy is further carried on by her great-grandparents, Ada Maner of Pryor, OK, and Gil Haynes of Claremore. She is also lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives who hold her memory close to their hearts.
Kyra is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Leo Perry, Russell Maner, Albert and Norma Million, and Carl and Mary Butler. Though her time with us was fleeting, her spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those she left behind.
