The funeral service for Joyce M. (Craun) Butler,83, Hennessey, will be 2:00 P.M. Monday February 1, 2016 in the First Christian Church of Hennesey with Rev. Gene Spillman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M.-7:00P.M. on Sunday January 31, 2016 at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Joyce was born on August 11,1932 in Hennessey, Oklahoma to Byron and Inez Bailey Craun and died on January 26,2016 at Integris Bass Hospital. She attended Maple Grove School then she went to Hennessey High School. She graduated in 1950. She married Jim Will in 1952 and from that union were born three sons, Jim, Dennis and David. She was a devoted wife and mother. Being a military wife took her and her family all over. After her divorce she moved back to Hennessey where she met Leland George who became her companion for 32 years. She moved on to her family farm which was the Craun Farm and with Leland�s help she started the farming operation.

She left behind three sons Jim Will and his wife Cherie of Tulsa, Dennis Will and his wife Betty of Hennessey, and David Will of Vian. She had three grandchildren Judge Will of Vian, Oklahoma, Natalie Giles of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Luke Will and his wife Michelle of Colorado. She had three great grandchildren, Cameron Will, Shayla and Syniah Giles. She also had two step grandchildren who loved her dearly, Leslie Mangrum and Bradley Ferguson and three step great grandchildren Reece, Wade, and Austin J. She also left behind her loving companion, Leland George and many other friends and family.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Byron and Inez Craun of Hennessey and two half-brothers, and a daughter in law Dona Will.

Joyce's family would like to give thanks to the nursing staff at Bass Hospital- especially Dr. Chen and to Nurse Laura and Nurse Jeff for their kindness and care to her and her family.

Memorials in her memory may be made to The Friends of the Hennessey Public Library, or the First Christian Church of Hennessey with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
