Carl Dwayne Butler
August 13, 1936 ~ October 11, 2021

 Carl Dwayne Butler, son of Lonnie and Gearldene (Keeter) Butler was born August 13, 1936 in Whitmire Community, Adair County, Oklahoma and he passed away October 11, 2021, at the age of 85.

Carl was married to Betty Darlene Purshall on May 10th, 1958 and to that union four sons were born: Terry Dwayne, Jerry Dean, Carl David, and Michael Darren.

Carl enjoyed running a dozer for many years. He worked for the City of Stilwell where he retired as the Street Superintendent. He was a member of Power House Church. Carl enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his dog, his grandchildren, and his great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both his mother and father; one sister: Loretta Butler; and one brother: Lonnie Gerald Butler; his wife: Betty Butler; and two sons: Jerry Dean, and Carl David Butler.

Carl is survived by a loving family that includes his two sons: Terry Butler and wife Deanna of Highfill, Arkansas, and Mike Butler and wife Deana of Westville, Oklahoma; one sister: Rowena Ogden of Stilwell, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial Services were held 1:00pm Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Power House Church with Bro. Darrell Lacie officiating under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, Oklahoma.
