Austin Christian Butler, a beloved son, father, fiancé, and friend, passed away on April 2nd, 2025, in Dewey, Oklahoma, at the age of 28. He was Born April 20, 1996, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Candise Robertson Butler and Cory James Butler. Austin could light up a room, bringing joy to every situation. He lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.

Austin’s passion for soccer began in his earliest years, and he continued to play throughout his life, forging lasting friendships along the way. His athletic talents extended to the gridiron, where he became the starting kicker for the Union High School football team, culminating in a state championship victory during his sophomore year. He also excelled as a starter on the Union Varsity Soccer team.

In 2017, Austin met the love of his life, Brianna Ecklund, and their blended family quickly blossomed. He cherished his role as a devoted father to Brantley "Chunk" Ecklund, Beckham Butler, and Charlie Butler, and his world revolved around his three cherished children. Earlier this year, during a trip to Branson, Missouri, Austin proposed to Brianna, with Brantley proudly standing to witness this joyous moment.

Austin was a kind and gentle soul, always placing the needs of others before his own. His infectious sweetness and unwavering support made him a cherished big brother and the best daddy imaginable. He delighted in simple pleasures: playing with his boys on the trampoline or in their backyard pool and enjoying video games after his nightshift work.

Austin is survived by his fiancé, Brianna Ecklund; sons, Brantley Ecklund and Beckham Butler; and daughter, Charlie Butler. He is also survived by his mother, Candise Forrest and Chris; father, Cory Butler and Ashley; brother, Bryson Butler; stepbrothers, Blaine Foster and Layton Daman; stepsister, Kaylee Daman; grandfather, Rick Robertson and Sally; grandparents, Mike and Sharon Butler; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
