Elizabeth Ann (Luellen) Butcher
January 30, 1927 ~ November 13, 2017

Elizabeth Ann Butcher, 90, of Oklahoma City went home to be with her Savior on Monday, November 13, 2017. She was born on January 30, 1927, in Kansas City, Kansas to Clarence and Alta Luellen.

Betty met the love of her life, Orby Butcher at Oklahoma Baptist University and spent 69 years together. She spent 22 years working in the mission field in Thailand. Betty dedicated her life to helping others and started the 'Thai Country Trim' to help the Thai women. She loved quilting, gardening and spending time with her family. She was also awarded the distinguished Alumni Achievement Award from OBU.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Luellen; and sisters, Edith Jackson and Arleta Shewmaker. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; children, Judith Friesen and her husband Dennis, John Butcher and his wife LuCreta, Michael Butcher and his wife Rhonda and Peter Butcher; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many more friends and family. 

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Friday, November 17, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be 10am, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Shawnee, Oklahoma.
