Mitchell Wayne Buss
April 4, 1963 ~ April 23, 2025

Mitchell Wayne Buss, 62, of Shawnee passed away April 23, 2025. He was born April 4, 1963 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Mitchell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was the patriarch of the family and someone who the family came to for love, support, encouragement and advice. Mitchell owned his construction business, Mitch Buss construction, for 30 years. He enjoyed going to the gun range and collecting guns. He was an avid military historian and loved to learn as much as he could.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Beulah Buss; children: Mitchell Thurman, Christopher Buss, Clarissa Buss, Cordelia Buss (Brandon), and Albert Buss; grandchildren: Issaiah, Kylar, and Enoc; brothers: James Buss, David Buss, Kenny Buss, Johnathan Buss, and Bryan Buss; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephews, James Buss, Jr. and Johnathan Buss, Jr.

A celebration of life for Mitchell will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801.
