John Thomas "Tommy" Bush Jr. was born January 8, 1963 in Orlando, Florida, to Jaquelin Louise Morrow and John Thomas Bush, Sr. He left this life September 24, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 55 years, 8 months and 16 days.
Tommy grew up in Orlando, Florida and attended school at Casselberry Elementary and Middle and Lyman High School. At the age of 17 Tommy enlisted in the United States Army where he received his GED and worked as a helicopter mechanic. He was stationed in Hawaii for a year and spent his last year in the service stationed in Alabama.
After his discharge in 1982, Tommy worked for his father’s company Sunshine Building and Development Corporation as a heavy equipment operator before becoming the superintendent. He moved to Erick, Oklahoma in 2005 and has left his impression many places around that town since then.
He is survived by both his parents and sister; Angela Bush, his daughter; Taylor Bush and granddaughter, Madilynn Shepherd.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
