Steven James Burton, of Marietta, OK, was born on February 10, 1989, in Oklahoma City, OK to David Lee Morton and Angelia Michelle Burton. He passed away from this life on Friday, June 2, 2023, in Marietta at 34 years of age.

Steven had worked installing fiber optics for an internet provider. He loved to workout, rapping, fishing, driving a tractor, and most importantly, reading his Bible. He had attended the Victory Church in Oklahoma City and the New Mount Zion Church in Marietta.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, David Lee Morton of Oklahoma City, and Angelia Michelle Burton and her significant other, Johnny Earl Oliphant of Marietta; girlfriend, Miranda Darnell of Marietta; brothers, Aaron Burton and wife Heather Howard of Marietta, Ryan Morton and David Morton, both of Oklahoma City; sister, Heather Burton of Norman, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastside Baptist Church of Marietta. Cremation is under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marietta.
