Dr. Thomas Gregory Burris
January 3, 1925 ~ July 11, 2018

Dr. Thomas Gregory Burris 93, of Bartlesville passed away July 11, 2018 in Bartlesville. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kristy Rodgers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.

Thomas was born January 3, 1925 in Bixby, Oklahoma to Wallace M. Burris and Susan Gregory Burris. He graduated from Bixby High School in 1942. Thomas received his degree from UMKC Dental school in 1947. He practiced Dentistry in Bartlesville from 1947 to 1990. Thomas was an avid golfer, Bird hunter, and fisherman. He was a Life Loyal member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, and the Royal Order of the Jester's. Thomas served in the United States Navy during World War II, and the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Burris of the home, 1 son; Mike Burris of Bartlesville, 3 daughters'; Becky Burris of Tulsa, Kathy Link and Ken Larison of Bartlesville, and Julie and her husband Loyd Tinsley of Norman. 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 sister; Susie Pittman of Bixby, nephew, Dr. Gregory Pittman of Tulsa, and step daughter; Jeanne Doornbos and her husband Mike Maher of Houston.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to Elder Care 1223 Swan Dr. Bartlesville, OK 74006.
