David Ray Burris

September 9, 1961 ~ December 30, 2012

David Ray Burris, son of Donald Ray and Donna Sue (Culver) Burris was born September 9, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 30, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 51 years, 3 months and 21 days.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing while his health permitted. He also loved cooking on the grill and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his grandson; Alexander Donavan Ray Burris, maternal grandparents; Thomas and Rader Culver and paternal grandparents; Bud and Etter Burris.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Sarah Burris of the home in Stilwell, OK, 4 children; Bradley Grayson, David Burris Jr., Sabrina Cochran and husband Jeffrey, and Justin Burris all of Stilwell, OK, 9 grandchildren; Kiera, Kyra and Kennan Galcatcher, Tanasia, Tyler and Tyren Cochran, Adrianna, Annabel, and Abigail Burris. His parents; Donald Burris of Stillwater, OK, Donna Burris of Wagoner, OK, 1 brother; Randy Burris and wife Dana of Muldrow, Ok, sister; Michelle Booker of Tulsa, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Dewayne O'Fields and Bro. Joe Grayson officiating.
