Brenda Kay (Bland) Burr; 61 years, 2 months, and 24 days. She was born on December 30, 1959, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. A resident of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Brenda went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband: David Lynn Burr; and her father: George William Bland. Also, her siblings: Bobby Bland and Billy Bland.
Surviving her passing is her only daughter: Jennifer Lynn Burr; 2 grandchildren: Ally Elizabeth Burr and Robert Lee Burr; her mother: Edith Melvina (Hall) Bland; 3 siblings: Randy Bland and Pam Bland of Dewey, Oklahoma; Deborah Peterson of Rivertown, Wyoming, and Dorinda (Bland) Gillaspy and Robert Gillaspy, Sr. of Stilwell, Oklahoma. Many other family and friends also survive her.
Brenda was a public worker and servant, she worked for 39 years at the Adair County Health Department as a Patient Care Assistant II. In her short, retired years, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren.
Brenda enjoyed going fishing with her grandson and attending his Ninja Warrior competitions. She also enjoyed watching her granddaughter’s soccer and t-ball games. A few more of her favorite past times were going junkin’ with her daughter and taking family road trips.
Brenda will be dearly missed by many, but we are thankful for all the great memories and the knowledge we will see her again.
