A Celebration of Life Service for Cheryl Linn (Morgan) Burpo, 71 of Enid, will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Bruce Johnson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Cheryl was born January 18, 1952, in Enid to Kenneth Morgan and Sela Willson Castleberry and passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at her home in Enid.
Cheryl attended and graduated from Lahoma Schools. She married Terry Unruh on April 20, 1972, in Lahoma and they made their home in Meno, OK. She later married Alan Burpo on April 17, 1988 in Enid where they made their home together for more than thirty years.
Cheryl was a waitress, respiratory therapist tech, pharmacy tech, Enid Christian School preschool teacher, postal clerk, timekeeper, and APWU officer for many years. Some of her hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, and card making. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and helping with various ministries at her church which included, prayer partners coordinator.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Morgan, husband Alan Burpo and brother Kent Morgan. She is survived by her Mom Sela Castleberry, children; Kandi Weakly and husband Brett, Teri Creel-Moulton and wife Kyla, and Ryder (Jason) Burpo, grandchildren; Tyler Young and wife Shelby, Ciarra Hayes and husband Chris, and Austyn Creel and wife Andrea, great-grandchildren; Saige Grace, Ryker James, Bentley Michael, Ella Mae, Kali-Lynne, Gunnar, Dalton, Ethan, three sisters; Linda Williams, Teresa Traynor and Kerri Morgan, stepsister Laressa Beliele, and stepbrother Roger Beliele.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Enid First Nazarene Church or Hospice Circled of Love.
