October 10, 1940 ~ April 11, 2020 (age 79)

Claude Patrick “Pat” Burnside, III, of Meeker, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 in Shawnee.

He was born October 10, 1940 to Claude Patrick and Letha Lee (Monday) Burnside, Jr. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Pat was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated with the class of 1957 from Harding High School.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.

Pat met his future wife Bonnie House in Oklahoma City and they were married on July 24, 1966 in Oklahoma City. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2011. After marriage they moved to Del City and Oklahoma City where they raised their family. They moved to the Bethel Acres area where they lived for several years making many lifelong friends. In 2007 they settled in Tecumseh until Claude recently moved to Meeker.

Pat worked for Mike Bryans Office Products for 30 plus years as a product salesman.

He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and cruising in his 74 Lincoln Continental.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Burnside; his parents; and sister, Cloyann.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Alecia and Delbert Roller of Tecumseh, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick Burnside, IV and Danielle Fox of Clermont, FL; 8 grandchildren, Chance, Mason, Jon, Criss, Stephanie, Joseph and Sara; 5 great-grandchildren, Lillian, Jacklyn, Daisey, Wyatt and Braxton; 2 sisters, Donna and Letha Lee; and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home. No formal services will be held. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
