Amy C. (Lee) Churchill Burns

November 18, 1897 ~ 1976

Funeral services were held for Amy C. Lee Churchill Burns, 78, at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Frye Chapel, Brawley, California.

Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in family property in Joshua Memorial Park, Lancaster, California.

Mrs. Burns was born November 18, 1897 in Bentonville, Arkansas to James Lee and Ollie Clark Lee.

She married Fred Churchill in 1921 in Cheyenne and surviving them are three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Newby of Watsonville, California; Mrs. Freda Daniel of Reydon, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Lucille Lutz of Lancaster, California; two sons, Sylvester Churchill of Durham, Oklahoma; and Melvin Churchill of Lancaster, California; twenty grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and numerous friends.
