Celebration of Life Service for Shelly Burnett, 62 of Enid, formerly of Fairview, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021, in the Bible Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Terry Chick officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Shelly was born March 29, 1958 at Fairview, OK to Samuel and Virginia Foster and passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Enid. She married Joel James on December 1, 1976 in Enid, Ok. Joel and Shelly had three beautiful daughters, Jeanifer, Samantha, and Sabrina. Together they enjoyed camping and going out on the boat. Shelly enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, going to ballgames, shopping, and eating out.
She married Jim Burnett on March 5, 2004. Jim and Shelly was married sixteen years before he preceded her in death on August 16, 2020.
Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents Francis and Gladys Foster, her husbands Joel James and later Jim Burnett, and a grandson Carson Vasquez. She is survived by her parents Samuel and Virginia Foster, daughters Jeanifer Sims and husband Christopher, Samantha Wallace and husband Curtis, Sabrina Mayfield and husband George, all of Fairview, seven grandchildren Trey Stephens, Skyler Barnes, Piper, Madison, and Porter Wallace, Bailey and Hunter Mayfield, four brothers Justin, Preston, Kelly, and Kevin Foster.
