She graduated from Kremlin High School in 1939.

Eva married Jack Burke in Enid on Aug. 5, 1944.

In August 1988, she joined Enid Public Schools as a bus monitor for special needs children and was actively employed there until shortly before her passing.

She was able to spend her final days at home surrounded by family and her beloved dogs. She passed away there in the early hours of March 2, 2015.
