Brenda Kay (Weber) Burghardt

July 29, 1961 ~ September 3, 2017

Okeene - Funeral service for Brenda will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Okeene United Methodist Church.  Viewing will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Brenda was born on July 29, 1961 to Archie Weber and Julia Marcotte Weber.  She went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 3, 2017 at her home.  She graduated from Okeene High School in 1979 and completed her Associates Degree as a legal secretary from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  She worked as a secretary throughout her life.  She married Timothy Burghardt, the love of her life, on July 24, 1982. They made their home in Okeene where they raised two beautiful children.  She was a lifetime member of the Okeene Child Study Club and a member of the Okeene United Methodist Church.  Along with her husband, Tim, Brenda was a youth leader for the Okeene United Methodist youth and they were class parents for both of their children.  She also coached youth soccer.  She enjoyed attending her children's school activities.  Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her three grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Julia Weber.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Timothy Burghardt of Okeene; her daughter, Savannah Pierson and husband, Brandon of Hydro; her son, Tyler Burghardt and wife, Lyndsey of Okeene; five grandchildren, Timber, Heath and Baby Burghardt of Okeene; Ryder and Baby Pierson of Hydro; three brothers, Robert "Bobby" Weber and wife, Pat of Okeene, Ricky Weber of Norman and Mark Weber and Tonya Nault of Okeene.

Memorials may be given to the Okeene United Methodist Youth Group or the Kirk Milligan Fund through the funeral home.
