Robert Gayland  “Bob” Burgess
October 14, 1932 ~ July 4, 2021

 Robert  “Bob” Gayland Burgess, born October 14, 1932 in Cleveland, OK, passed away peacefully at home in Ponca City, OK on July 4, 2021.

Bob was born to George Vernon Burgess and Ivy Ingle. He joined the National Guard and Army serving in the Korean War from 1950-1952.

He married his loving wife of 68 years, Jo Monica Warrior, a year after his honorable discharge. They married in Fairfax, OK and lived their remaining years in Ponca City. He was employed with the US Postal Service for 26 years. He will be missed by all who knew him.
