Jessie (Eversole) Burger, 89, of Blanchard, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in Blanchard Oklahoma. The daughter of Joseph C. Eversole and Martha Jo (Thomas) Eversole, she was born on August 9, 1933, in Davenport, Oklahoma.
Jessie was very involved in her community. She worked with the Senior Center to help cook and serve meals. Jessie also attended Crossroad to Life Baptist Church. She was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Jessie once caught a 22-pound catfish was so proud that she had to show her daughter, Tammy, at four in the morning. She also loved gardening and genuinely enjoyed being in the country. Jessie was an avid Elvis fan; she absolutely loved her Elvis! She was also the ultimate OU fan, anything OU! Jessie will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Burger; and ten siblings.
Jessie is survived by her daughter, Tammy Bowman of Waco, Texas; one sister, Betty Knight of Norman, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Cynthia Burger, Timothy Burger, Phillip Burger, Larry Burger, Jr., Jimmy Burger, and Daniel Swain, William McClement V; 16 plus great-grandchildren; and many more loving family members and friends.
Viewing will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 10, 2023, at
Eisenhour Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M.,
Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements
