Joyce Lee Burchfield

Joyce Lee Burchfield, a 57 – year – old Kingston resident, died Saturday in the Madill hospital.

Mrs. Burchfield, wife of Garland Burchfield, had been a resident of Kingston since 1981. She and Mr. Burchfield were married April 11, 1970, in Silver City, New Mexico, where they resided immediately prior to moving here.

Mrs. Burchfield was born April 15, 1926, in DeKalb, Texas. She was a member of the Bayard, New Mexico, First Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge. No public services were conducted.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Burchfield is survived by a step-son, Jimmy Burchfield, of Indianapolis, Indiana; two step – daughters, Barbara Buttelmann of Temple, Texas, and Linnie Margoules of Seabrook, Texas, her mother, Edda Foster of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and several nieces and nephews.
