Lawrence Neil Bunch

August 30, 1945 - April 08, 2017

Lawrence Neil Bunch was born August 30, 1945 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Millie and Lawrence Kenneth Bunch. He passed away April 8, 2017 at Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 8 days.

Neil grew up in Stinnett, TX and graduated from Balko, OK in 1964. After graduation he furthered his education at OSU in Stillwater, OK. In 1967 he began his career in the oilfield by welding on pipelines with his father and brother. In 1981 he was married to Vicki (Heibert) Bunch at Lela, TX. After their marriage he continued welding in the oilfield until 1987 when he began his own pipeline construction business. Through Bunch Construction he contracted out to several different companies. In 1998 Neil went to work for Enogex where he remained until 2011 when he retired. During his retirement he filled his time with working for API as a pipeline inspector. Neil enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, classic cars, riding motorcycles, traveling and seeing the sights.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, David Bunch.

He is survived by 2 sons, Chris Bunch and wife, Shan-Marie, Lincoln, CA, Darren Bunch and wife, Rhenda, Elk City, OK; 6 grandchildren, Thomas, Garrett, James, Aiden, Payson and Paxton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
