Glen Dell Bullard, 80 year old resident of Arnett, OK passed from this life on May 12, 2018 while in Pampa, TX.
Glen was born in Shattuck, OK on July 29, 1937 to Ovel Woodrow and Melba (Dearing) Bullard, they lived in the Bishop community until Glen was 3 years old and in 1940 the family moved to the farm four miles east of Arnett. Glen attended Arnett Public Schools graduating with the class of 1955. Following graduation he began working at the local propane dealer learning the trade. In 1961 his parents retired from the farm and he operated the family dairy for five years.
In August of 1971 Glen married Dena Bryan near Raton, NM. They made their home in Arnett where they owned and operated Glen's Propane and Glen's Feed and Seed. Gardening was a special interest he was fond of and many hours were spent preparing for a bountiful harvest. Glen and Dena worked side by side in the kitchen to prepare the fruits and vegetables for canning, enjoying the fruits of their labor throughout the year. Glen also loved fishing, hunting and sporting events and was an active member of the Masonic Lodge #192 in Arnett, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ovel and Melba Bullard and his wife Dena Bullard.
He is survived by his brothers Haskell Bullard and his wife Linda of Shakopee, MN. and Donald Bullard of Springfield, MO.; sister Yulonda Taylor of Arnett, OK.; numerous nieces and nephews; friend Donna Davidson and other relatives and friends.
