R. R. "Ran" Bull of Okanogan, Washington died suddenly about 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Pearl, either from an attack of heart trouble of a ruptured blood vessel.
Mr. Bull had left Okanogan the same morning with a truck to bring back an engine and boiler for the Dagnong mill.
While assisting with the loading of the equipment he complained of a pain in his stomach and climbed up to rest on the truck seat. When his companions looked around Mr. Bull was lying dead over the steering wheel. His body was taken into Waterville, when an examination was made by Undertaker Thomas, who thought death had resulted from a ruptured blood vessel.
This theory is accepted by Mrs. Bull, who stated this morning that Mr. Bull had always been robust and never suffered any heart trouble.
The remains will be brought to Okanogan by train tonight. Funeral arrangements await further word from brothers and sisters in Oklahoma and Colorado.
One brother, G. A. Bull of Mangum, Oklahoma, left immediately on receipt of word of the death, and will arrive in Okanogan Friday or Saturday.
