Saratoga Springs, NY - Frederick D. Bull went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2016, surrounded by his family and loved ones, at Saratoga Hospital at the age of 86. Mr. Bull was born to Clarence and Grace Bull in Hebron, NY on July 4, 1929.
Fred was an active member of Bethel Bible church and spent his life working to glorify God. A talented welder he had his own welding shop, and also worked for the NYS DOT for 24 1/2 years. Fred's greatest joy came from spending time with his large family and showing others the love of Jesus Christ. Known as a kind and giving man, Fred often shared the produce of his beloved garden with many.
Mr. Bull is survived by his wife of 69 years, Barbara, sons; George (Diana) Bull of Saratoga Springs, NY, Fred (Patricia) Bull of Saratoga Springs, daughters; Barbara (Bud) Havens of Whiting, NJ, Dr. Grace (Dr. John) Ferris of Stilwell, OK, Nancy (Rene) Foote of Accomac, VA, Patti Massey (Tom Olson) of South Glens Falls, NY, and Jan (Rory) Cullen of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Siblings; Gifford Bull, Carl Bull, Lillian Bull and Harold Bull, sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bull is predeceased by his siblings L.D. Bull, Lydia Covell and Jean Bush.
Fred's family would like to thank the Drs and Nurses at Saratoga Hospital.
A celebration of Fred's life will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at New Life Fellowship Church, 51 Old Gick Road, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, with a viewing from 11-12 and a Celebration Service at 12:00 noon, Burial at Maplewood Cemetery to follow immediately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to SPLFS (Stillwell Public Library Friends Society) for the Children's Wing @ 5 North 6th Street, Stillwell, Oklahoma, 74960.
