Michael "Chooch" Buffington
June 24, 1969 ~ February 1, 2018

Michael "Chooch" Buffington, son of John L. and Linda K. (Hammond) Buffington was born June 24, 1969 in Tahlequah, OK and departed this life on February 1, 2018 in Siloam Springs, AR at the age of 48 years, 7 months and 7 days. He worked as a machinist at Baldor Electric for nearly 29 years to provide for his family.

He was a huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and loved good John Wayne movies. He also enjoyed gardening and his dog and cat named Menggay.  He loved to grill outdoors, cook, hunt and spend time laughing and loving his family. He was a gentle soul and big teddy bear.

Chooch was preceded in death by his grandparents; Owen "Hungry" and Faye Gene Buffington, Elsie Hammond and father; J.L. Buffington.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes wife; Celesti Buffington of the home, his son; Levi Buffington and Taylor of Little Kansas, OK, mother; Linda Buffington of Watts, OK, brother; Tony Buffington and wife Rebecca, sister; Keena Buffington-Vernon both of Siloam Springs, AR and 1 granddaughter; Jordin Buffington. Uncle; Gene Buffington and wife Dianna of Watts,OK, 7 nieces, 1 nephew, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him
