Josephine "Jo" Buffalomeat

August 20, 1970 ~ June 15, 2019

Josephine "Jo" Buffalomeat, 48 year old resident of Seiling, OK, passed from this life on June 15, 2019 in Seiling. Jo was born August 20, 1970 to Raymond Gene and Norma Jean (Black) Buffalomeat in Clinton, OK. She grew up in Seiling and attended Seiling schools graduating with the class of 1988. After high school, Jo attended the High Plains Technology Center in Woodward, OK where she earned her L.P.N. license.

Jo worked as an L.P.N. for the Seiling hospital and an assistant manager at the Canton Lucky Star Casino before becoming disabled. She was a member of the Seiling Indian Baptist Church and she just rededicated her life to the Lord last month in May. Jo loved her family especially her children, grandson Slater Brock, and her girls Isabella Bates (Gigi), Makayla Bates (Rae Rae), Oliva Bates (Baby “O”), Rihanna Sevenstar, Dezarae Sevenstar, Larissa Sevenstar, Kiyah Sevenstar, Adrian(Baby) Ortega and Vincent (Cotter Brown) McCracken.

Jo is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Norma Buffalomeat and son Micha Ryan Toas Walker.

She is survived by her three sons Cody Brock Walker and companion Alissa Lee of Canton, OK, Brody Drake Walker, and Elijah Raymond Buffalomeat; daughter Devon Rae Buffalomeat; grandson Slater Brock; brother Burl Buffalomeat and companion Theda of Seiling, OK; three sisters Rowena Beaver and companion Cujo Night Walker of Seiling, OK, Dana Buffalomeat and husband Denny Standingwater, and Susie Wolfmule and husband Tim of Seiling, OK; three aunts Edna Sutton, Norma Smith, and Rita Black; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
