Thomas Eugene "Cowboy" Buff, 62, of Blanchard, died Friday, January 13, 2017, at his home. The son of Clarence Buff and Mary Edna (McKern) Buff, he was born July 26, 1954 in McAlester, Oklahoma.
Tom married the love of his life, Rosalee Beatrice James, on June 10, 1975, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He worked as a supply clerk for Central Plumbing Supply for over 21 years. Tom was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and being in the outdoors, camping and fishing. Tom enjoyed watching sports and was an avid OU fan. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Alonzo Buff.
Tom is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rosalee Buff of Blanchard; two daughters, Linda Kay Buff of Texas, and Rosanne Blankenship and her husband, Hoyt, of Oklahoma City; two sons, David Buff of Blanchard, and Clarence Buff and his wife, Ashley, of Texas; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Eberle and her husband, Larry, of Missouri, and Linda Joyce Buff of Bixby; two brothers, Bill Buff of Eufaula, and Charles Buff and his wife, Marina, of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 16, 2017, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
