Iona "Jeanne" (Nash) Bufalo
January 31st, 1935 ~ August 20th, 2017

Mrs. Iona "Jeanne" Bufalo (née Nash) died peacefully on August 20th, 2017 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

 Jeanne is survived by her son Jerry Bufalo and wife Jennifer of Bartlesville, OK; her son Charles Bufalo and wife Tricia of Bartlesville, OK; and her daughter Shirley Labella (nee Bufalo) of Germantown, MD. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren; Michelle Vernon, Shannon Coffman, Steven Labella, Brad Davis, Kelli Minton (nee Bufalo), Kyle Coffman, Shelby Bufalo, and Nikki Bufalo and great-grandchildren Nathaniel Bunton, Christopher James "CJ" Bunton, Easton Minton, Ace Minton, and Ziva Pahel.

She is preceded in death by her parents Esther and Frank Nash, her husband James T. Bufalo, her children Kathy Buffalo, James F. Bufalo, and Richard Bufalo.

Jeanne was born on January 31st, 1935 in Copan, Ok to Frank L. Nash and Esther Shirley Nash (nee Brown).

She graduated from Dewey High School in 1953. She married James T. Bufalo on July 27th, 1953. They would remain married until his passing in 1993. Over time, the couple welcomed 6 children into their home.

Jeanne retired from the United States Postal Service after working at the Dewey Post Office for a number of years.  Jeanne enjoyed a second career as a security officer for Guardsmark Security at the Plaza Office Building for ConocoPhillips as well.

A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday August 22nd, 2017 until Wednesday August 23rd, 2017 at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Ok. It is a come and go viewing as Jeanne did not wish to have an official service. However, all are welcome to attend and share stories of Jeanne's life during the family visitation hours of the viewing on Tuesday August 22nd, 2017 from 5 pm until 7 pm at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, OK.
