Arlene Eda Buckmaster, age 78 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on March 7, 2021 in Guthrie. She was born on January 24, 1943 in Oakland, California to William and Jeanette (Stapel) Stumpf.

Arlene attended school in Anderson, California. She married Haden Buckmaster on April 10, 1971 in Fremont, California. They had lived in Guthrie since 1978. Arlene worked and retired from the Logan County Clerks office. She attended the United Pentecostal Church and enjoyed baking wedding cakes and was considered very artistic and creative.

Survivors include her husband Haden Buckmaster of the home in Guthrie, three children, Khristie Shortt and husband Greg of Yukon, Mark Buckmaster of Florida, and Becky Taylor of Guthrie, two step-children, Sonja Agpawa and husband Joe of Reno, NV, and Karla Loftin Of Marysville, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Crystle, Jessica, Jordan, Jessie, Randy, Dina, Sara, Darrell and Tyler and 21 great grandchildren. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and one step-son Terry Buckmaster.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Andy Starnes of Friendship Church officiating.. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.m.
