Mary (Merworth) Buckley

Mary (Merworth) Buckley
???? ~ June 28, 2022 | Age 62

Mary Buckley, 62, of Enid, passed away in her sleep June 28th, 2022. Mary was the middle child of three to Hugh and Barbara Merworth of Big Spring, TX. Mary was born and raised in Big Spring until she moved to Oklahoma in the early 1990s. She was an avid gardener and fisherwoman for most of her life. Mary loved to grow all kinds of plants and was known to have a fruitful garden full of veggies and flourishing house plants. In her spare time, she loved to fish. She would often be found on a riverbank or lake shore fishing her time away.

Mary was a wife, mother and grandmother. She married Jessie Dale Buckley on August 11, 2017, after 18 years together. She was the biological mother to Jason, Brandi, and Courtney; however, she had many people who called her Mom. People of all ages knew her as Mom and knew they could count on her when needed. She was also mom to many strays. She was known to rescue kittens and has always had numerous pets around. People had even been known to leave them on her doorstep! Her greatest role was that of Nana. She loved being Nana to Treniti and Madison most of all.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Barbara; her sister, Martha; and her granddaughter, Madison. She is survived by her Husband, Jessie Dale; her children, Jason, Brandi, and Courtney; and her granddaughter, Treniti.

Services will be Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, at the Salvation Army Church. Time of service is to be determined.
