Elizabeth Lucille (Hiser) Buckles
January 12, 1927 ~ March 20, 2016

Elizabeth Lucille Buckles was born to Benjamin and Mary (Kirkendall) Hiser on January 12, 1927, in Hominy, and passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016, at her home in Enid.

She grew up in Mound Valley, where she graduated from High School. On March 7, 1947, Lucille married Albert Buckles, and they made their home in Pawhuska. She was a stay-at-home Mom. They moved to Enid in 1965, where Lucille was a pediatric nurse�s aide at St. Mary�s for 25 years. She then took care of her ailing husband, worked for home health, and later day care. Lucille was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, where she was active in the missionary society.

Lucille is survived by her children: Jennie Willems of Hillsdale, Jack Buckles and wife Nancy, David Buckles and wife Teresa, and Susan Thomas, all of Enid; eight grandchildren, Burk Willems, Benjamin Willems, Klancy Kole Willems, Carrie Buckles, Jack Buckles II, Shaun Buckles, Shanna Winterbank, Jessica Thomas; seven great-grandchildren, Sophia, Lucas, Stevee, Jordan, Brooklyn, Liam, and Greyson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert; granddaughter, Jamie Michelle Willems; eight brothers, and two sisters.
