Alice Marie (Conner) Buckett

November 15, 1930 ~ October 13, 2025

Alice Marie (Conner) Buckett of Dewey, OK passed away peacefully at her home on October 13, 2025, at the age of 94, just one month shy of her 95th birthday.

Alice was a hard worker her whole life and held numerous jobs outside the home. She diligently studied the Bible since she was a young woman and one of her greatest joys in life was teaching adult Sunday School Classes for over 50 years. She was known to most as Sister Buckett.

Alice is survived, by four daughters: Donna Griffith and Glenn, Glenda Stark, Debra Bastings, and her husband David all of Dewey, OK and Joann Davenport and her husband Johnny of Jay, OK, and one sister Vivian Lindersmith of Delaware, OK. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Percy David Buckett, her parents Arthur and Ella Louise Conner, her sister Mary (Melton) Saucier, her brother Robert Conner and two grandsons, John David Griffith and Larry Brent Griffith.

Services are pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home and Crematory Walker-Brown Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at
