April 3, 1968 ~ May 12, 2017 (age 49)

Jerrald Brent Buchanan, 49, of Norman, Oklahoma., went to be with Jesus on Friday morning, May 12, 2017. Jerrald was born on April 3, 1968 in Midwest City, Oklahoma., to Jerry Buchanan and Trudy Stuart Buchanan.

He graduated from Choctaw High School in Choctaw, Oklahoma., in 1986. He attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

Jerrald was married to Kerrie Elaine Dilley on September 16th, 2000 at the Hotel Del on Coronado Island in Coronado, California.

Jerrald was employed as the Chief Information Officer at Hal Smith Restaurant Group. He was a member of Journey Church in Norman, and was known by all as an avid Sooner fan.

He is survived by his wife, Kerrie, and their three daughters, Madison (15), Audrey (13), and Kennedy (8). He also leaves behind his father, Jerry Buchanan of Pie Town, New Mexico, and his sister Jenifer Buchanan Salter, husband, Scott, niece Kirby, and nephew, Ryan of Castle Rock, Colorado.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16 at Journey Church in Norman, Oklahoma.
