August 3, 1950 ~ August 27, 2021

The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of John Bruce Bryant, 71, of Ponca City, will be held privately under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

John "Bruce" was born August 3, 1950, to Lynn and Mary Bryant in Fairview, Oklahoma, and went to heaven August 27, 2021, from his home in Ponca City, Oklahoma, where he has lived for the last two years. He had suffered from a long illness.

In his younger days he became very interested in Karate and was able to get his black belt and became a Karate instructor, thanks to his teacher, friend and neighbor, Bill Mays. He worked a few years at the lumber yard in Fairview. He later followed his dad, Lynn, and Brother, Troy, and became a barber for many years. He was a very good-hearted Christian Man.

He is survived by his sister, Ann Cook, of Enid; brother Troy Bryant and Wife Elva, of Bethany, Oklahoma; and three children, Tracy Lynn Bryant, Tera Kay Couchman and husband Kris, and 2 grandchildren, Maysie and Kade, of Enid, and his youngest son John Jared Bryant, of Ponca City.

Condolences and special memories may be shared with the family online at www.Brown-Cummings.com.
