Eldwin Bryant, 61, of Kinta, OK passed away, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born January 3, 1954 in McAlester, OK to Frank & Loeta (Powell) Bryant.
Eldwin worked at local coal mines many years before going to work at Fort Howard/Georgia Pacific in the shipping department. Although he had been unable to work since February 2014, he officially retired in November 2014 due to a prolonged illness.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn, of the home; his daughters, Megan Morrow and husband, Will of Muskogee, OK; Tori Smith and husband Joseph of Whitefield, OK; Ashley Harris and husband Daniel of Hartford, AR; one son, Seth Bryant of the home; mother, Loeta Bryant of Kinta, OK; father, Frank Bryant and wife, Aleta of Kinta, OK; grandchildren Keaton, Kerstin and Kilee Morrow of Muskogee, OK; Gunnur Bryant, Brittany and Mia Smith of Whitefield, OK; Brandon Nicholson, Grace Harris, Gauge, Malachi, Rachel, and Dannie Harris of Hartford, AR; sister, Diann Henson of Poteau, OK; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, other relatives, loved ones and many, many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 pm, Friday, January 30, 2015 at Stigler First Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Milligan & Gene Murray officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Eldwin requested that donations be made to the church building fund.
