Ricky Glenn Brunson

Ricky Glenn Brunson
March 08, 1955 ~ February 28, 2018

Ricky Glenn Brunson passed from this life on February 28, 2018 at the age of 62. He was surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Ricky was born in Mineral Wells, TX to Vernon and Nettie Mae (Jones) Brunson. His father was in the Air Force where they traveled the world. After his father's retirement they settled in Garner, TX where Ricky went to Millsap Schools. At the young age of 17 he joined the Navy and was an aircraft mechanic on the John F. Kennedy Carrier. After living in Weatherford, TX, he met and married the love of his life, Cathy Lou Creech, who he affectionately called "Lou Lou." They settled and made their home in Fargo, OK in January 1982 where they raised their six children. Ricky was a mechanic all his life and in 1997 he started his own business "Brunson's Engine Repair." He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them, no matter what they were doing. They spent countless hours at the lake, camping, jet skiing and tubing. Knives Cutlery was his favorite show and we have the knives to prove it.  He could fix anything and would give the shirt off his back. Ricky was loved by so many.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Nettie Mae (Jones) Brunson, in-laws Winson and Cliffie (Watson) Creech, daughter Candice Brunson, grandsons Jaxon Paul and Ryder Dale Hamaker, sister-in-law Debbie Creech and brother-in-law Joe Creech.
