Mark Andrew Bruning, Sr., age 65, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away September 26, 2015 in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born on March 17, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Oliver and Lucille (King) Bruning.
Mark graduated from Classen High School, he attended St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond. Mark married Donelda "Dee" Brooks on January 24, 1970 in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed woodworking, restoring antique furniture, old cars and coo coo clocks.
Survivors include his wife Dee, son Mark Bruning and his wife Heather, 2 daughters Sara Bruning and Sandy White and her husband Danny all of Guthrie. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Louis Bruning and wife Ann of Oklahoma City and Tony Bruning and wife Shelly of Coyle and 5 grandchildren, Bailey, Whitney, Samantha, Karson and Tommy.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, October 2, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 900 S. Littler Avenue, Edmond, OK, with Rev. Ray Ackerman officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
