Paul Donald “P.D.” Bruce
October 20, 1937 ~ August 28, 2024

Paul “P.D.” Donald Bruce, 86, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the Alliance Hospital in Durant, Oklahoma. He was born on October 20, 1937, in Sherman, Texas to the late Fitzhugh Lee Bruce and Zelma Quiten Bruce. P.D. was raised in Denison, Texas where he attended school.

He was married 51 years to Francelle “Frankie” Graves, they married on June 13, 1962, in Durant, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on October 10, 2013. P.D. moved his family to Madill where he started his concrete business. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army as well as a long time standing acting member of the Masonic Lodge #74, for the last 13 years he dedicated his time taking children to the Shriners Hospital. P.D. loved his family and sitting on the porch on nice days.

Paul was survived by Daughters: Debra Bishop, Durant, Oklahoma; Vickie Bishop, Durant, Oklahoma; Carla Winters, Madill, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Amber, Bo, Mindy, Billy, April, Dusten and Jade. Great Grandchildren: Skyler, Taylor, Alexa, Mayla, Mackenzie, Mylee, Peyton, Kelsey, Remington, Brody, Shawn Cole, Hunter, Laynee, Wyatt, Levi, Bailey, Kinzlie. Great Great Grandchildren: Parker Perez. Along with many bonus grandchildren. Siblings: Carlos Bruce and wife Pat, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Calvin Bruce and wife Vivian, Denison, Texas; Butch Bruce and wife Sue, San Antonio, Texas; and Mary Ann Heinrich, Del Rio, Texas.

Paul was preceded by his parents, wife, and 1 son in-law: Bill Bishop.

Casket Bearers: Bo Bishop, Billy Bishop, Bo Joines, Dusten Coleman, Mackenzie Beal, Peyton Smith

Honorary Bearers: Shawn Buchanan, Brody Joines, Remington Bishop, Hunter Bishop and Brody Morgan
