March 16, 1942 ~ August 29, 2021

Michael K. Brown Blackwell, Oklahoma – Michael “Mike” Brown, age 79, died peacefully in his own home surrounded by his family and beloved pet Gidget on August 29, 2021.

Mike was born on March 16, 1942 in Oklahoma to Floy M. Brown (Langham) and James B. Brown. Mike served with the United State Navy. After his service with the Navy he met Alice Brown in California. They moved to Kansas where he worked for Del Monte Foods in Topeka, KS for 32 years. After retirement Mike and Alice moved to Blackwell, OK to be closer to family. Mike has lived in Blackwell for 15 beautiful years and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Alice Brown of Blackwell, OK; daughters Michele Jerles (Jay) of Edmond, OK; Debra Harrison of Shawnee, OK; Beatrice Hite (Greg) of Pittsburg, KS; Chris Cowan of Oskaloosa, KS; son Charles Mowery (Raymola) of Carbondale, KS; brother Don Brown of Oklahoma City, OK; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
