Jewel V. "Grandma" Brown was a long-time resident of Oklahoma City and died at Southwest Medical Center at the age of 98. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Capitol Hill Full Gospel Church, located at 2928 Woodlawn in Moore, where she had been a member since 1923.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest A. Brown, and two sons, Ray and Roy Brown. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Mary Brown; one daughter, Irene Humfleet; six grand-children; nine great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of loved ones and friends.
