Jan P. Brown, 54, passed away April 22, 2008 at her home in Loveland, Colorado. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 22, 1953 to Edward and Rita Moore.
Jan attended Monte Casino Catholic High School, graduating in 1971. After graduation she received as BS in Education from the University of Tulsa. She was also a student at Colorado State, and Oklahoma State University.
She married Michael R. Brown on August 11, 1972 in Tulsa, OK. They established residences in Bartlesville, OK, Grand Lake, CO, Kersey, and then moved to Loveland, CO in 1997.
Jan is survived by her husband, Mike Brown of Loveland, CO, daughter Erin (Brown) Pilger and her husband Steven Pilger of Westminster, CO, son Ted Brown and his wife Jen (Hodge) Brown of Highlands Ranch, CO, and sisters Rita (Moore) Fork, Darleen Moore, and Karen (Moore) Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The loves of her life were her family and friends and she enjoyed traveling with her family to the mountains, Carmel, and Hawaii. She was also successful in and enjoyed raising and showing Great Pyrenees dogs.
A memorial mass was held in her honor at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland, CO. Rev Felicien Mbala conducted the service.
