Barry Brown, 74 year old long time Woodward business man, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014. A family memorial service will be held in Tuttle at his brothers home. Cremation services arranged through the Billings Funeral Home.

Barry Bryan Brown was born on July 9, 1940 to B.B. and Renee �Dessie� (Smith) Brown in Abbeville, Louisiana. Barry graduated from Depew High School in 1958. Barry went on to Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma. While in college Barry met Barbara Bonifield in 1961 and the couple was married in 1962. To this union one son, Bryan and one daughter, Sunny were born. Barry and his family lived in California until 1979 when they made Woodward their home. Barry worked as an insurance salesman and a car salesman the majority of his life. Barry enjoyed hunting, spending time on his land, and entertaining friends. His love for his family was first and foremost in his life and he loved to spend time with them.

Barry is survived by one son, Bryan Brown, Jr. and wife Mary of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Sunny Brown and Bill Shirley of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Mike Brown and wife Geneva of Anchorage, Alaska; Dean Brown and wife Kathy of Tuttle; numerous nieces, nephews other family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Barbara.
